trying out starting an irc channel
(as well as the 'rules' journal)To any who are interested, the channel's #GamingPagoda and the server (if you don't know the exact Quakenet server address) is irc .quakenet.org (without the space of course) If you don't have an IRC client, [link] has a webchat option as well.
As for rules:
1: Leave the drama at the front door.
2: No flaming. The occasional joke 'flame' is fine, but nothing serious mm'kay?
3: Discussing anything illegal (such as warez, torrents or rather their uses, and yes 4/20) is not allowed. (server rule)
4: Don't talk about porn and the like. (server rule, plus some people would find it disgusting)
5: (final server rule, unless I missed one) Promotion of nazism and racism is off limits. Condemnation of the two is highly welcomed however.
6: Common sense people. Use it.
Final rules: Enjoy yourselves, don't argue with ops, and most importantly don't ask to be voiced or op'ed. I'll distribute them as I (or another op) sees fit. Comprende? Also, I do ask you to bare with me, I'm kinda new at being an op. (but I do have some experience when it comes to being a moderator so I'm guessing that's close enough
)
